This Privacy Policy describes how The Textile Study Group both protects and makes use of the information that you provide us with, for the running of our activities. All the information that you provide, is only used for the sole purposes of our activities and is never shared with other groups and companies. The reasons we gather limited information is to inform customers of: 

a) Our summer schools 

b) Events such as exhibitions, workshops, seminars etc 

The only data we collect and hold on our website is your name and email address. Information submitted online is held on secure servers and is accessible only by our Chairman and support staff (communications officer and treasurer). All personal information is handled within the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation. 

Further information including your address, plus postcode and your phone number is stored as paper copies and as spreadsheets. We use this data to enable us to make direct contact with you via email, telephone or mail, to send you promotional emails about our summer school, exhibitions and other events and also for our own internal records. We retain this information after events finish, but you may request to have any information we hold on you amended or permanently deleted. 

When you subscribe to our newsletter, you must acknowledge that your details will be stored on our behalf by our mailing list service provider, Mailchimp, and that your information will be processed according to Mailchimp's privacy policy and terms. We request your name and email address only. You can unsubscribe at any time.
